History
*History:
Fisher was born Swiftkit to Goldentail and Mousepelt, along with two sisters.
His sisters were notable smaller and sickly, and it was obvious there was some turmoil among his parents’ courtship.
Mousepelt was a troubled and tense warrior. In battle, he was weak, but where he really lacked was socially. Because of this, he scrambled to find a mate.
Goldentail was an older female. She previously was in a relationship with a handsome tom, but this ended moons before she was courted by Mousepelt. Many saw Goldentail’s temper flash now and again, and guessed this was the reason two split.
One incident made it clear the couple was troubled. The two had been on a hunting patrol, and stepped aside. Goldentail came back after arguing with Mousepelt to reveal a scrape on her nose. When discussed among the clan, Goldentail revealed their argument was about her recently discovered pregnancy, Mousepelt had left the scrape on her nose. After hours of arguing it was decided by the leaders that Mousepelt wouldn’t be able to visit his kittens or Goldentail while they were in the nursery.
A few weeks after giving birth, the she-kits still would simply sulk in their best and scarcely move, but Swiftkit was healthier.
Some of the other females in the nursery would witness a harsh scolding from Goldentail, always directed at young Swiftkit for getting in trouble. He’d be sent to a corner of the nursery and sit with his nose touching the wall for many hours.
Never seeing his father seemed to trouble the young kit, but soon he was an apprentice, though his sisters weren’t. His mentor was the Tom his mother had previously been with. Mousepelt was obviously upset.
That night, commotion came from the nursery. Warriors barreled in and dragged Mousepelt out, and Swiftpaw protested violently to these cats hurting his father. Yelling and lashing, he eventually slipped past the bundle of scrapping warrior and into the nursery. He returned to sit beside his mentor moments later, deadpan and totally silent.
That night, Goldentail and her two kits were all killed, and Mousepelt was exiled.
From here, life went smooth, maybe even painfully so.
Swiftpaw took a liking to a beautiful female, but was brushed off. This seemed to affect him heavily.
Soon he received his warrior name, Swifttail. He was often scolded for not having a mate after he was made a warrior, and so he drifted towards Mountainsong. They soon had kittens, however some were sickly, and the couple was noticeably troubled over this.
Two of the kits survived to become apprentices, Swifttail took a liking to the strongest, Ripplepaw.
After a long while of his children growing, something happened.
A warrior of SootClan was found dead, and none could deny Swifttail was the cause. He was exiled, and returned only once to slay his son’s lover.
As he walked into the unknown world, he heard a commotion and spied from the bushes, a fisher sprinting across a clearing. It chased after a chipmunk, which it killed and devour in mere moments. When the fisher had finished his small meal, he cocked his head at Swifttail as if he knew he were there the whole time. He grunted, flicked his long snaking tail, and his dark pelt disappeared into the brush.
Swifttail decided then and there, he would now introduce himself as Fisher.
