Almondfur
Lilacclaw (Mal) | Crowjaw (Sloth)
His milky brown eyes turned to meet with the vibrant iris of a molly known as Lilacclaw, a rather inquisitive female who had slid herself into his conversation with Crowjaw. Not like I was trying to get something going or anything, the young male thought with a repressed sigh as his eyes lurked to the dark color tom beside him. However, he reluctantly put his attention back on the molly beside him as she aimed her inquisition to Crowjaw since the tom hadn't spoken up among the crowd yet.
Glad to know at least I blend in, Almondfur thought with a soft huff that was dismissed by a flick of his ear. On the other hand, he didn't want to be someone who was nothing but background noise -- Cottonberry made him feel like that enough half the time. His ears flattened at the thought of the blue-eyed tom that had brought him to this clan in the first place. Don't be such a fool again, the young tom scolded himself silently as he felt a pang in his heart.
Quickly turning alerted eyes back onto the she-cat beside him, the sultry sounding tom turned on a bit of hidden charm as he blinked gently at her to show he'd given her his attention. He for he spoke, he allowed an equally mischevious smirk to match Lilacclaw's enthusiasm for gossip.
"On one hand I suppose royalty need not answer to anyone," there was a distant swish in the air as his tail stirred the atmosphere. "However it does make her seem awfully suspicious."
Letting his eyes lead themselves once more, he attempted to help Lilacclaw and get what they both seemed to want -- Crowjaw's input (however different their reasons may be.) "Sounds like she's feeling ashamed of herself, doesn't it?" Almondfur looked at the dark tom with questioning eyes, unaware of the affairs that went on in privacy -- other than his own.
