After his unsuccessful attempt to sneak his way into the ranks of RavenClan, Snake had ended up wandering over to the twolegplace. He had been here a few times before, as twoleg food was amazing, but he preferred to avoid the twolegplace out of fear of getting captured or killed by a twoleg or one of their monsters. He made sure to stay a good distance away from the thunderpaths and out of sight from the large windows on the sides of the twoleg nests. The last thing he wanted was to be seen by one of those hideous furless creatures, but he wouldn't mind meeting a fellow cat out here, especially a she-cat of his own age. Snake grinned at the thought of that.
A scent hit his nose and he snapped out of his daydreaming about she-cats. It smelled slightly familiar, but not like something he had eaten recently. Definitely not like anything from the forest. Finally he remembered it was one of those large birds that twolegs loved to eat. He heard a rumor that it was called something like "chicken." He followed the scent of the chicken until he eventually got to the back yard of one of the twoleg nests, approaching a large, silver sort of container that reeked of assorted twoleg foods. Snake jumped his way to the top of the bin, accidentally knocking it over in the process. After he and the strange silver object had tumbled to the ground, he picked through the debris that had come out of the bin to try and find the source of the chicken scent. Most of what was in the trash was... well, trash, of course. Rotten fruit, that strange shiny stuff that twolegs wrapped their prey in, and other assorted mystery objects that held no significance to Snake due to the fact that he was a cat.
Finally, he found the source of the scent. It was hidden in a large container with a bizarre image of a mustachioed twoleg man on it. Although it was mostly just bones, the twolegs had foolishly left some of the meat, fat, and skin still on the food. How wasteful, he thought. Snake then proceeded to make himself at home, enjoying the rare bird. It was a shame that such a tasty animal couldn't be found in the forest, but that was why Snake enjoyed the occasional visit to the twolegplace, as far away as it was from the area he usually roamed. He thought that maybe he should bring some of the bird back to his friend Splashpaw from RavenClan, but that would be along walk and he didn't want the amazing scent to attract predators or fellow cats who would be envious of his find.
