Fawndapple hummed happily as she padded through the plains, the apprentice she had decided to take out today by her side. She was enjoying herself. She loved the smell of new leaf, and she loved the fact that there was prey running all over the place. “Mm, don’t you love the smell of new leaf? It smells so hopeful,” she said as she glanced at the apprentice who was at her side. She loved the fact that she was able to take apprentices out. She loved helping young cats grow, be it by watching over kits or by training apprentices.
“Well, since the prey is returning, how about we try hunting? The prairie dogs should be returning, and I don’t know about you, but I definitely missed the taste of prairie dog,” she said with a bit of a giggle. “Anyways, what do you smell?” She asked the apprentice as she inhaled herself. She wasn’t exactly the best at tracking, but she was a warrior, so she could at least try to pick something up. It wasn’t like she was this helpless apprentice. She was a warrior! A warrior who did look a bit like an apprentice, but a warrior nonetheless.
