Do double rank ups count in the contest?

So I was thinking. Do double rank ups count in this contest? For example, I’ve requested that my kit Ravenkit be evolved to Ravenpaw. If I can get the correct requirements and can then rank Ravenpaw up to a Warrior, would that count as two rank ups or one?
