Yucca character limit?

So I was rereading lore and saw this 

Members are allowed 2 Yucca cats and may purchase a two additional cats in the site store.

and I went, "oh, I should see how much these additional cats will cost!" However, when I got to the store, I saw this:

Once you have reached your 2 Yucca Cat Limit, you may purchase ONE more.

So I'm a bit confused. Is the top limit four or three?
