question on in character miscarriages/all stillborn litters

I was thinking about possible ways to continue torturing my character Dawnclaw, as she wants to have kits but is troubling to get pregnant, and I came up with an idea of her finally getting pregnant but then losing the kits somehow.

I know you can have cats have miscarriages/all stillborn litters in a cat's history, but I'm wondering how you would go about this in character and whether it would be allowed? Obviously a miscarriage might be easier as the kits wouldn't need rolled appearances as with an entirely stillborn litter. I understand if it's not allowed because of the hassle, and my cat's plot can definitely do without this, it just adds to Dawnclaw's feeling of success and relief when she finally has a healthy litter, and how insistent she'll be that the kits shape up to be what she expects of them.

I'm not entirely worried about whether it would count toward a litter total (I don't think it would? As history stillborn litters don't count as one of the three litters- if I'm wrong on any of these history things please correct me rip) but I'll include that question as well just in case someone else wants to use this plot device and is concerned about that.

What if we did a thing where we could purchase the all healthy thing and have it be all stillborn? o:

You're welcome to have the litter rolled, then proceed to leave it at that--no adoption thread, no applications for the kits, nada. You can then either do a miscarriage or play out a quick birth thread with all stillborn kittens (though, naturally, keep the details PG13). I'd recommend adding a sensitivity warning to either the title or thread description.

If you want to do either of these, let us know what exactly you want rolled. If you want physical descriptions included for the sake of naming the stillborn kits, that's fine. If you'd rather us just roll a number of kittens, that's cool too.

A litter with either of these endings will not count toward litter totals. The limits on litters is mostly to avoid armies of kittens being pumped out by a few cats, so if there are no kits in play from the litter, then it's not affecting any statistics.
